Why Ultraman Tiga Was a Big Deal
Просмотров 95 тыс.3 месяца назад
With Ultraman Tiga we enter the Heisei Era! Ultraman Tiga was the show that marked the proper return of the Ultra Series after its disappearance following the failure of Ultraman 80 over a decade earlier. A lot changed within that time and with that change came plenty of talented newcomers eager to put their stamp on the iconic series - among them was arguably Ultraman Tiga’s maverick: Kyota Ka...
Is Godzilla Minus One PEAK Cinema?
Просмотров 88 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Godzilla Minus One, the latest Japanese Godzilla film, recently hit theaters and it has made quite the impression. People from all walks of life are not only calling it one of the best Godzilla films ever... but also one of the best films of the year. The latter sentiment is an insanely interesting reaction for a Godzilla film in the same year that saw films from cinematic legends like Christop...

Why Hollywood Sucks at Making Live-Action Anime
I loved the movie for one reason and that reason only, my baby niece looks exactly like Emi
I notice the power ranger thunder power magezord in the background when there with emi
Ok ima watch this movie
whens it coming out
One littlw easter egg I liked, due tobit heing one of my favorite shows growing up, if you look carefully in some scenes in Ken's lair, you can see a figure of the Power Rangers Dino Thunder Megazord. Wasnt expecting that, but I liked it alot when i noriced
Those episodes are some of my favourite of all time, without question.
it was my childhood and it even collabed with a malaysian tv show
Ultraman racing it’s one of my favourite movies of all time😮😮😮😮😮
This was my first introduction to the kamen rider franchise. It took me a second to calibrate to the wavelength if this movie, but once i got into it, it was a lot of fun.
Would you like to see your favorite tokusatsu scene talked about in-depth here on this channel? I'm now accepting video commissions for just that. If you're interested, let's get in touch! You can contact me on: Twitter: x.com/penpen_iii Discord: discord.gg/JqPj4NPz Email: business@yt-blunova.com
1:13 On the shelf is the mecha from Abaranger, or for westerners Thundersaurus Megazord from Power Rangers Dino Thunder on the right
Ultraman fighting Kaiju❎ Netflix: Ultraman babysitting Kaiju✅
Two of Ken's toys or figurines he has in his underwater base were abaren oh and i think that his underwater base is a call on for geed he finds out his dad is an Ultraman and is given it's power he uses it to save people but doesn't want to be like his father but his own self and like geed he doesn't really hate his dad but wishes he knew him more.
1:35 Ken is usually seen wearing (what I believe is) an Ultraman wristwatch with a red digital display. It does look like an instant transformation, but maybe it’s a hidden motion or synced to his thoughts/brainwaves, can’t say for sure
There's another Ultra Seven reference with Professor Sato! His glasses are the Ultra Seven/Ultra Eye transformation tool :) Also one of the billboards during the fight was just the original Ultraman (white and red) logo 😭
I reaaly don't like Anno's directing style.
ultraman powered theme spotted goated creator
I love how u can see their eyes moving in the mask
The megazord from power rangers Dino thunder toy in the background
when you said you were going to talk about references i thought you meant in general like the fact they included the power rangers dino thunder megazord in as a toy that sato owns but still not a bad video
Its a small thing but my favourite reference/easter egg was the two power ranger dino thunder mega zord action figures ken has i was happy to see them especially since dino thunder is my favourite power rangers series
Bunny was actually another character from a show called lost ollie in netflix
The thumbnail....shin tranman.😅
My friend is a huge Kaiju fan, and its she who has shown me a lot of various Godzilla movies, and so, when the opportunity arised, we watched this movie together. Both of us went "IT'S GOJI'S DANCE", so, learning that it is a reference to a reference was a new fact for me. And yeah, I never watched anything related to Ultraman before, and yet, this movie is excellent in the way, that even if you dont know anything about the series - you can still enjoy it fully.
Did the series ever explain why the Kaiju or Ultraman are ankle deep in the ocean despite it being significantly deeper than their entire body? And that there's some sort of hard surface when they get knocked down instead of sinking into the water.
00:21 looks like way big move ben ten
Gigantron was also based on Malelficent's dragon form.
The dragon also had a destroyah roar during the film The people who heard it 👇
there is an abaranger megazord in the background
the movie was fun
The only stupid thing is that they didn't made their own ultraman, all ultraman series have different ultraman for the mc
When The first trailer shown i was not Interested to watch it at all because it's like an american superhero movie ,but I saw this video full of Ultraman references from my childhood😂 I was immediately interested in seeing this movie
Kawasaki Krico hesbenso
The baby kaiju also makes the sound they used for the velociraptor and the procompsogathus in jurassic park
As someone who never grew up with ultraman nor really knew anything about this universe, I really liked ultraman rising nonetheless. A well done and very well animated film in my opinion!
also not related to ultraman but in kenji's room there is a super sentai/power rangers megazord toy in his room next to some kaiju
Hesei Ultraseven also deserve its own video
You should do a video on Hesei Ultraseven
"With the Super Smash Borther like cast" Funny thing is there are other anime project liks this one.
I thought the he got the name cuz it have 3 color cuz in my country tiga mean 3
Netflix doesn’t mess up Ultraman adaptations, im impressed by that
Love to see someone loving what they're doing
This movie is GOOD!!
Bro was too skinny
I'm over 50 and loved Ultraman Rising... it was so good! I would like to see that Japanese movie you mentioned... dunno if it was ever released in the States
ultra man is my childhood series
Not sure if anyone did catch this, but the KDF members did actually have the same, if not, similar uniforms as those in Ultraman Mebius
i didn’t think that this would be a good movie, but i was pleasantly surprised. this is a great movie, for both kids and adults, with a great message and characters.
wtf was the starting clip
5:04 Rodan?? SCP 682!?!?
